Machining
We
offer a specialist extrusion machining service for components
up to
2m in length. Our extrusion machining department is equipped
with two dedicated CNC mills for high productivity.
Extrusions: We
hold a range of our own extrusion materials which are used
for common repeat jobs as well as holding stocks of customer
supplied free issue extrusions. This allows us to offer fast
turn around on certain orders. Because of the high volume of
extrusion material that we handle we are also able to source
most standard profiles quickly and can arrange for the
manufacture of custom moulds and bespoke extruded
profiles.
Specialist
CNC Technology: The Beaver VC45 is a fixed table
travelling column vertical machine centre with a traverse
of 2000mm x 400mm x 400mm specifically
designed for machining extruded profiles. The Kira has a
traverse of 2000mm
x 300mm x 200mm and
is similarly dedicated for extrusion machining. |
